China to Get Microsoft’s Surface Tablets

Microsoft wants worldwide availability for its upcoming
Windows 8 Surface tablets, not only the US and Europe.

Microsoft has made a deal with the large Chinese retailer
Suning to sell its Surface tablets through its chain of over
1,300 electronics stores in more than 200 cities, according to Microsoft once said the Surface would be available
only in its permanent and temporary pop-up stores plus its Web
site. Suning is already the official retailer of Windows Phone
devices. Pricing and availability were not provided.
