Toys ‘R’ Us Launches OTT Service

Toys “R” Us has launched an OTT VoD service named The service offers rentals, streaming or
downloads of movies; 24-hour rentals start at $2.99, and
downloads are $5.99 and up. The service offers 4,000 titles
from Disney, NBCUniversal, Warner Bros, Sony Pictures, Starz
and Paramount, and others. Rovi is powering the service, which
will offer users curated lists of content. The service is
currently available to computers, and Toys “R” Us said it will
be launching an app for tablets, iOS and Android devices, and
smart TVs in the future.
