Cablecos: DSL Is a Dirty Word
The TV commercials that the cableco Cox is currently running
carry the very clear message that DSL broadband is something
you don’t want in your home. “Too much buffering,” it says, an
indication that Cox knows its subscribers watch OTT services
such as Netflix. It also shows that the industry may be
reaching the tipping point where broadband has become more
profitable than pay TV — no pricey content to buy.
