Stratos Jump Pulls 8m Live Streams on YouTube

Redbull’s stratos jump, performed by Felix Baumgartner at
128,100 feet above the Earth, drew eight million simultaneous
live streams on YouTube, the company said in a blog post. The
event, which lasted two hours, broke a number of records,
including YouTube’s record for concurrent livestream viewing.
The post did not indicate whether that number was derived from
unique viewers. A number of viewers complained about receiving
the 502 error message while watching the event on YouTube.
