Apple’s Cook: TV Are an Area of Intense Interest

“When I go into my living room and turn on the TV, I feel like
I have gone backwards in time by 20 to 30 years, said Apple
chief Tim Cook in an interview on NBC. “It’s an area of
intense interest. I can’t say more than that.” If and when
Apple launches a TV set, it’ll be going up against the CE
goliath Samsung and its South Korean competitor LG plus a bevy
of Chinese set makers that are ramping up their sales
activities in North America and Europe.
