Mog’s forthcoming All Access online music service is enlisting a little help from The Echo Nest to show just how well a blog-centered approach to music discovery works.

Mog’s All Access service is a network of professional and user-generated music blogs used to disseminate content like new albums, songs, music videos and band information to a variety of users. The Echo Nest platform is a machine-based "learning" platform that picks up music chatter from the all over the Web, from text to audio and video, and develops better interactivity and connections for music searching and recommendation engines.

The development of Mog’s platform, which works directly the way Echo Nest monitors the Web, will likely be heavily influenced by this model. As Mog progresses, it will show the impact that blogs are directly having on the digital music space, and the Echo Nest pairing will provide backup for its development.
