Talk Talk, the broadband service provider that’ll soon be spun out of Carphone Warehouse, is likely to offer a pay-TV service in 2011 over its broadband network, according to documents the company made public. BT already uses its broadband network to deliver its BT Vision pay-TV service.
It is already a participant in the BBC-led Project Canvas, which is developing the design of a media adapter that’ll connect TV sets to the Internet. The boxes are expected on the market by year-end. |
